CRIMINAL defence lawyer

Luke has over 12 years experience practising in criminal law in Tasmania. He has firmly established himself as a hard-working and specialist criminal law advocate, who is held in high regard among the legal profession.  

 

Luke graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2011 and was admitted to legal practice in 2012. Luke started his career in private practice in Launceston before working for the Legal Aid Commission of Tasmania, based in both Burnie and Launceston. He then commenced working for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in both Launceston and Hobart. Most recently, he has managed the sexual assault and family violence unit at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, appearing on complex family violence and sexual assault matters in the Supreme Court state wide.  

 

Luke has appeared on countless criminal trials, sentencing hearings and bail applications. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience appearing in court as an advocate. He is dedicated to understanding his clients needs and achieving the best outcomes possible for them.
